Refunds & Returns Policy

At KeyCAL, we pride ourselves on providing reliable, high-quality calibration services and automotive components. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for refunds, returns, and exchanges.

1. Returns – Physical Products

We accept returns of eligible products within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is:

  • Unused and in its original packaging

  • In resalable condition

  • Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order confirmation)

To initiate a return, please contact our team at admin@keycal.com.au before sending the item back. We’ll provide return instructions and shipping details.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (unless the item is faulty or sent in error)

  • We do not accept returns on clearance or special-order items unless faulty

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If a product arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We may request photos or details to assess the issue.

If approved, you may be offered:

  • A replacement item

  • A full refund

  • A store credit

Where applicable, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

3. Services – Calibrations & Programming

Due to the nature of our mobile and in-workshop services, refunds are only offered for:

  • Services that were not delivered due to our error

  • Confirmed instances of service failure or misdiagnosis directly caused by us

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind or cancellation after service has been delivered

  • Issues caused by third-party workshops, incorrect part installation, or incomplete vehicle repair

  • Situations where vehicle condition prevents successful calibration or programming (e.g. bent mounting points, missing components)

If you believe a service was not performed to a professional standard, please contact our team immediately. We’ll review the job and, where appropriate, offer a resolution.

4. Booking Cancellations & No-Shows

To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any service cancellations or changes.
No-shows or same-day cancellations may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service charge, depending on technician time and travel costs incurred.

5. Warranty Claims

Some products sold through our online store may carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to individual product pages or contact us to confirm eligibility and process.
